Live Match Discussion: 2020/21

Leeds were massively on top at the time, completely changed the flow of the game. Lingard got away with the pen though as it was such a dreadful effort that Meslier ended up diving too far and couldn't gather it in or push it anywhere other than straight out.

2-0 now too.

That's almost a worse miss than Saiss at the weekend...

Leeds should really have got something from this, so many wasted opportunities.

Cancelo looked bobbins for the first 6 months of his City career, now he's not far off PotS.

I think Nuno's plan was to play Adama and Semedo as overlapping one another but that doesn't work as Adama is almost impossible to play with, as Doc himself found out.

In the wider point about goals, Doc was undoubtedly a threat at set plays, a good header of the ball and liked a pop at goal, couple that with the loss of Jota and Raul and it is clear we have not replaced any of their input.

That's piss poor recruitment.
We really lack a player who runs behind the opposition defence. Think that’s my main issue with José, as his immobility is a problem for us as he’s not the type to run behind. Neto, Traore and Podence all want the ball to feet, so without Jota too we just don’t have that variety in movement. If there was something Doc did well, it was arriving in the box.

Neves is definitely trying to do it more, but it's an oblong shape in a rectangular hole.

A Lampard type would clean up in our team. Not that easy to find them though.

Should be MGW, won’t be and I suspect we will regret it in the long term.

Bradley Dack scores for Blackburn, he's got a few recently.

Good to see him back after over a year out
