Not so sure on Mings, if Eddie Howe thinks he’s got better centre halves then he’s a buffoon.
El Ghazi I can see staying for reasonable price, but add it all up and they probably need to spend £60 million to stand still.

He spent £12m on Mepham, to play on the right and Ake plays on Mings' side so unless he is off they'll flog him. Plus he has injury concerns, subbed off, yet running around like a lamb after the game.

Good chance they will to be fair. Owners are seriously minted. As long as they don't mess up like Fulham which if Smith has a say they won't then they'll be comfortably mid table

Personally I think villa will do ok unfortunately. Hit form at the right time and deservedly won today against a derby side who played to their potential only in the last 20 mins. Marriott and Waghorn were streets ahead of Bennett and Lawrence and Huddlestone is a parody of the player he once was. And is it only me that thinks Scott Carson probably stops both villa goals. He would have come for the first and kept hold of the second

Scott Carson, never ever comes for that first goal. What he isn't and hasn't ever been is a commanding keeper. My nan punches the second.

I think there’s no question they’ll spend a lot of money. But they need 4 defenders, 2 wingers and a striker just to get something resembling a first 11. They’d then have absolutely nothing behind that.

Adomah, Whelan, Jedinak, Lansbury, Kodjia, Hutton, Elphick all need to go. They need major surgery. Can’t expect to sign 10-15 players, all hit the ground running and do well.

I don't think they will get Abraham back, especially if the transfer ban at Chelsea kicks in. Equally Man United want to take a proper look at Tuanzebe.

Mings is a loan, Hause is a loan, El Ghazi is a loan.

They need to spend a lot just to stand still.
