Happy enough to not play very much (only ever played 30+ league games for them once in 14 seasons), could theoretically play two positions, local lad, got injured a lot so got goodwill from that...it happens. Tbf he was pretty good in 2007/8 at RB when G-Nev was injured. That was the exception though.

When United sold Stam at the start of 01/02 and paired him and an ancient Blanc together he was horrific. At fault for a goal virtually every single game for a spell.

Yeah, been a pretty decent game. England have had a hairy couple of moments but overall have done well. They have been good when in the lead in these situations in this tournament so far.
