Different players though. Aguero has pace and Džeko can be used as genuine target man. Nasri also can play wide and so can silva. Mata is horrendously immobile and Rooney and RVP don't have pace either.

Rooney is no slouch. But I take your point, I think they are allowed more freedom by the likes of Toure and especially Fernandinho though. And if United had similar players who could hold their own physically in the middle the mentioned players are good enough to roam and create more than they have lately.

Yeah he's not slow. But he's not going to run away from players.

Looks like Messi is back, i know it's only 1 game but looks a completely different player to the one who played last season and at the World Cup. Hope he continue playing like this all season. Munir looks a player aswell.

Looks sharper that's for sure. Let's hope so.

Lamela's assist was unreal. He'll be one of the best in the league this year.

I think Munir is only 18 aswell. .Fits right into the Barca style of play.

Steve Bruce talking drivel for a change. Yes, it was Hull's throw, not Stoke's. How in the blue fucking hell do you expect technology to correct that error though? Are we going to review all throw in decisions now?

Follow the NFL, give each coach two challenges. If they get the first right, they keep the second, get the first wrong, lose both.

Guarantee you that Cribbins would have wasted his challenge under that scenario on Chester's red card.

Probably better that he gets his team to defend routine balls into the box more effectively.

The trouble with that is that the FA are generally more concerned with not making their referees look bad than they are about getting the decision right so there is no way that they are going to support a system that may have their men proved wrong on 4 separate occasions within one game.

The point is that getting a throw in wrong is as bad as getting a goal line decision wrong. There is no such thing as an unimportant decision. Any wrong decision has the potential to completely change the game. So if technology is going to be used it should be used for all decisions.

A goal line decision wrong definitely affects the scoreline. An incorrect throw in, more often than not, does not. We cant have technology for all decisions. TV replays for every throw in? No thanks.

Spot on, throw-ins cannot affect the score line at all. Bad defending can and goal line tech 100% will.

Moreno making his debut.

First big match of the season,I hope City wins.

Man City v Liverpool then. Looking forward to this one.

well that was out of nowhere,1-0 Jovetic

After plenty of Liverpool possession they conceded a goal through awful defending
