Really? He heads it where he should, Moreno just waits for the ball and Jovetic nips in. All on Moreno there.

He's had to come over Silva's shoulder to head it, he's got no choice but to head it the way he's facing there, no chance he could've directed it elsewhere unless Silva's head didn't exist.

Moreno has to be sharper there, or someone maybe needs to give the lad a shout to tell him someone's up his arse.

It needs both, someone needs to be telling him but he can't wait for the ball anyway, not there. I've seen several say it was the pace of the league that caught him out which is nonsense, he just doesn't know what's around him and thinks he's got time to clear.

Big space for silva to run in to, though. Pool has defended really solidly up to then. Morono definitely at fault though, even though I think Lovren should have done more to stop the first ball in to silva

Coutinho and Gerrard really need to start noticing Hendersons running off the ball, he's ghosting into some great positions.

Yeah maybe. Though Moreno probably wasn't expecting the ball to come back to him. Plus he hasn't got eyes in the back of his head to see Jovetic get the run on him. I wouldn't expect to see Moreno running back towards goal anticipating Lovren's header coming back his way either.

He doesn't need to anticipate it as such, it's not like it comes flying at him or he needs to make up a massive gap either, one step forwards and he's there ahead of Jovetic.

He should have been because that was the only place he could head it. He's not got eyes in the back of his head but he's got team mates and he can turn his head to see around him. That goal is all about basic mistakes from Moreno essentially, you can break it down further from there but if Moreno does what he should then no goal.

I've just watched the replays again. Yes Moreno really should be clearing it quicker. He dithered standing still for too long thinking he had time. He'll learn that quickly in this league though.

I remember seeing him for Porto a few years ago in the Champion League and he looked good then, i'm surprised it took this long for a big club to sign him.
