According to the BBC, Villa had ONE shot on target tonight. One. Coming on the back of the 0-0 they had on Saturday v Newcastle when they didn't have a single shot on target.

2 home games, 1 against a 3rd tier side, 180 minutes and just the one shot on target.

They're easily the worst team to watch in the Premier League, far, far worse than Stoke used to be under Pulis. That was rustic stuff but at least most of the time you were guaranteed a bit of goalmouth action and you could see what their attacking plans were, even if they were fairly crude.

Villa by design have no possession - they habitually had under 35% of the ball last season, often at home as well - and provide no attacking threat. It must be soul destroying to have to watch that every other week.

I can't imagine tonight's performance was aided by having Darren Bent leading the line, he's an absolute disgrace.
