In that case they could move back one hour on normal kick offs and kick off the other game later if possible

Amazing what a little constructive problem solving can accomplish.

Amazing anyone makes it to any Major League Baseball games at all, then.

Good comparison being as a baseball game lasts what, five hours on average, maybe longer? And the crowd builds over a day. I don't think you'll get many takers for a £25 Wolves ticket where you pop in after 70 minutes.

I think you just have to accept that armchair fans can't watch *everything*. When I was growing up only the European Cup final was on live, no other games.

When I go to our 7.45 kick offs I don't get home until 11pm. If it were one hour later I'd miss the last train. And I only live about four miles from Molineux.

Ok then, was just an idea

It's more of an indictment on our awful public transport round here :) If I were a City fan who lived where I used to live in Manchester then it wouldn't be an issue at all.

The point is though that you don't have the right to watch everything at home, it would be nice but there are very good reasons why it isn't possible. We live in an age where during a European week I can easily watch 20 games a week - seriously, that is enough and given what I grew up with we should feel privileged.

Have all those who are looking to switch KO times from 7:45 actually ever been to a 7:45 ko match? Its not as easy as you think, tonnes of people milling around near the ground, certain roads blocked causing traffic jams, nightmare getting food/drinks as everywhere is jammed.

Even 7:45 ko's are a struggle if:
a: You live more than 5 miles from the ground and dont drive
b: You dont finish work til 5:30 or later
c: You need to get changed or pick up tickets etc

Nasty cut for Mandzukic courtesy of Sergio Ramos' elbow, looked accidental though.

Benzema's first touch has been woeful tonight, few times now things have dropped to him in the box where you'd expect a striker of his level to bring it under control and squeeze a shot off but instead it's bouncing a couple of yards off him and coming to nothing.

Yeah i guess it will be some millions more watching the game on tv and less in the stadium

He isn't top level, same rung as Huntelaar, Giroud, Llorente etc. Oddly Lewandowski would probably be perfect for them.

This is the first time I've really watched Real this season and they're not doing much for me from an entertainment point of view, don't seem to do much more than give it to one of Ronaldo, Bale or James and just hope they make something happen. No great tempo to their play, not much interplay between them, all just seems so laboured.

Lewandowski seems wasted at Bayern the few times I've watched them this season, he doesn't seem to have anything like as much involvement as he did at Dortmund, just loafing round the box for ages whilst they stroke it around aimlessly in midfield, he's got so much more to his game than being a fox in the box but that's all Bayern need really with Guardiola's setup.

Athletico-Real 0-0..not bad if athletico can score at bernabeu

Wasn't a great spectacle in the end really, no-one really created a clear chance after that early one for Bale.

Poor Yeovil, two seasons removed from a promotion miracle into the Championship and now they're almost assured relegation to L2.

That's what happens when you have an owner who's completely and utterly lost the plot. They're so reliant on loanees it's pathetic.

Ricardo Qaresma has bagged 2 against Bayern. It's like FM2002 again

2-0 porto..is robben missing still?

Smashing Barca goal, Neymar finishes it off, great move.

Edit: On second look PSG gave it away badly to start with, still well executed though
