You gotta be joking nando?

Pulis is the opposite of LVG..constantly giving instructions, just to give an example

And Sherwood though too far the other way with his histrionics and 'all about me' antics

That just shows LVG hasn't got a fucking clue. Moyes was a miles better manager at Old Trafford.

I fully expect utd to finish 5th or 6th so it'll be interesting to see what the board do, Moyes was out as soon as 4th was mathematically impossible

Yeah man u have been very lucky to grind out the points/wins they have got..de gea with wc saves every game..often win by a goal and not impressing..spending that money, just bad

This much was obvious before they appointed him though, Van Gaal's is yesterday's man. Rijkaard got outdated and he played under LVG. His Holland team were generally dreadful to watch, he is a narcissistic prat. Look at his record at Barca and Bayern, bang average given the status of those clubs.

Surely even the most pro-LVGer should be able to see that his Ajax teams were held up by talent?

Where the idea that Van Gaal is worth anything as a manager has come from is absolutely befuddling to me. I wish I could have managed those Ajax teams and then walked into cushy jobs in Munich and Barcelona. A managerial silver spoon if ever there was one.

LVG says Valencia was their best player tonight.

I also thought Valencia played very well, unfortunately he also produced moments of complete stupidity.
I was surprised that United gave Arsenal a game and seemed improved on much of what they have produced this season. Substitutions were a nonsense though replacing the very effective Herrera was a real head scratcher.

If United found a manager that could get the best out of Mata, Di Maria and Rooney, they'd be dangerous.

Roy Keane thinks that Van Gaal should be given time to re-build the team. He spent a fortune in the summer, so if they sack him, the new manager would probably also require significant funds. I have my doubts over Van Gaal, but somewhere along the line United need stability.

Would help if he actually played Mata! I don't think it should be that difficult to get the set up right, Herrera and Carrick in midfield and mata, di Maria and januzaj behind Rooney

Stop being sensible, that'll never allow Van Gaal to play long ball.

Fucking awful from Casillas again.

What's happened to Madrid. They were awesome before went off for the tournament in December.

They miss Modric a hell of a lot.

1-1 Ronaldo

Just as I was about to say Madrid were looking to make it hard (fnarr).

Why have no one on the post there if you're Schalke?
