I think Kilman probably deserves to keep his place, but only if we play 343 with Marcal in front of him.

If we play 352 I'm happy to drop Ait-Nouri in for greater attacking impetus, but then I'd have Saiss behind him.

Can't disagree with Traore being sub and Neto keeping his place, whatever the formation.

I think Nuno will go 343, play Traore and Neto next to Raul and Saiss at LCB. LWB will depend on who's fit. If Marcal can play I think he will play and we'll ease RAN in

I'd much prefer to see Ait-Nouri ahead of Saiss than Marcal ahead of Kilman.

Hell, if they're both fit I'd rather see Marcal as LCB and Ait-Nouri as wingback.

I'd go with that team. Leeds high intensity press against a more comfortable back 3 on the ball should work in our favour.

I like our front 3 against Phillips, Koch and their other CB.

You'd like to think that if RAN could start against PSG he could start against Leeds, but you're all forgetting recent international form.

Raul's done OK as our no. 9 but surely the man with a better goals per game record for England than Shearer has to start up top...

Seems to be a lot of love for Marcal atm, he was superb in the role he played against Sheffield Utd, but thats the only gametime he's had. I know Saiss has dropped a couple of clangers versus City and West Ham (only Semedo and Neto came out of that game with any credit) but I'd be a bit wary of dumping him right now, think him and RAN would be fine on the left side.

I don't think any of us can make completely confident claims about any of the new signings just now, Semedo aside. Marcal has a rep for being a better CH than WB, but not necessarily in our system.

Nuno certainly has options now

Still think he needs to find an effective place for Traore in this set up though. I know a lot of us are happy with him getting 30 mins a game, but Adama won't be

Neto has been dropping in to defend on the left of a 3 man midfield in anyway.

I seem to be the only one to pick a team to cope with this (3-5-2), at the moment.

Take the ball off them, keep it and set the game up, and then probably in the second half, bring on Traore or whoever the game requires for us to win.

Has basically been the shape the majority of the time. I’m not sure I quite get the plan from Nuno with this one as it’s extremely lopsided and I’m not sure it benefits some of the individuals
