That was my first thought. If they have that sorted then Jackett is on borrowed time until the sale.

It was announced a couple of months ago now and I wonder if they were put up for sale and had interested parties in a few weeks and they are just waiting for confirmation of interest and to announce a sale will be completed pending due diligence (which of course could take 6 months).

Completely out of left field it could be the announcement of Moxey/ Thelwell leaving Wolves at the end of the season.
