Keir Starmer at it again..

My council tax is going up by £7 a month. Drinks are on me if Labour get in.

They are only proposing to pay for the freeze for one year…every subsequent year the base income for councils will have been permanently devalued by the current rate of inflation. It’s effectively imposing a real terms cut on councils but deferring the pain for 12 months..
And what are the tories doing apart from fucking everyone who isn't a mate of theirs?

A Kier Starmer line on the NHS crisis is on the front page of the Telegraph today, in an agreeable way. I know that will be make the Corbynistas hard as they'll use it as 'evidence that he's a Tory in a red tie', but from a 'fuck the Tories' point of view it's really good news that that side of the press is taking him seriously, it will be a big help to removing the fuckers.

It staggers me how intelligent people can be really fucking stupid. Like surely to fuck as an MP, every tweet or comms you send out you should just stand back a bit and think 'what's the worst way that this can be interpreted?', fucking moron

This comment is probably better for the Corbyn thread, but that attitude speaks volumes.

clever people make stupid, and/or irrational decisions all the time. It is part of being human imo.

It's more irrational to expect certain types of people to always make right/good decisions.

None of us are infallible.

Any politician must know that when discussing racism that whatever is said will be scrutinised to the letter, even more so if you’re a figure that attracts attention whatever you say. I suspect the point she was trying to make is that a black person is obviously different in appearance and therefore subject to racism in different ways to say a white Jew. To write it in the way she did is more a case of gross incompetence, blended with a touch of arrogance, than infallibility.

It's like she did it on purpose for some reason. No one can be that ignorant surely.

She’s so wrapped up in being the victim she’s blind to the fact that it’s not a competition and lots of different groups have been subjected to appalling treatment just for being who they are. I don’t think she’s capable of objective thought on the matter.
