Jeremy Corbyn

The only electoral reform you'll get under a Tory Government is the 'independent' redrawing of boundaries which invariably benefits them. I have yet to see any evidence that Corbyn's undoubted support within his own Party is resonating with the wider electorate and very much doubt it ever will.

It depends on the will of Parliament, not the Govt., but you're probably right.

I was talking about Party dogma rather than suggesting Corbyn is popular with the wider electorate, but if the Tories make themselves really unpopular then with the present system the only alternative will probably be a 'hung' parliament and that could bring about electoral reform.

Ten quid minimum wage is an excellent policy.

Why was the shadow defence secretary's speech to the Labour Party conference altered by Mr Corbyn at the last minute.

Democracy and free speech is clearly not allowed by the Corbyn regime.

Why do you parrot whatever comes out of Tory Central Office?

Prove he did and I'll answer the question.

Labour's official policy is to support renewing the Trident system, but leader Jeremy Corbyn - a longstanding CND campaigner - wants to change the party's position and launched a defence review to examine the issue.
During his speech, Mr Lewis told delegates he was sceptical about renewing the Trident nuclear missile system, but was "clear" that it was Labour policy to do so.
BBC chief political correspondent Vicki Young said Mr Lewis had wanted to go further and say he was willing to stick with the official policy, but a line from his speech was taken out at the last minute by Mr Corbyn's office.
She added that she was told Mr Lewis swore and threw his mobile phone in frustration when he came off stage amid unconfirmed reports he also punched a wall.

So claims then? That you accept because of the target.

Ok I will leave it there. You clearly cannot answer a straight forward question. Something you often accused HGW of not doing.

If the party policy is shortly to change, then really it would be a good idea not to commit either way in a speech at this stage. Can't see why Lewis would be too upset by that if he is indeed personally a sceptic on the merits of Trident.

Corbyn would be proud of you.
You literally quoted from a BBC article headlined 'Clive Lewis plays down Trident speech row'

So is he lying? Or are you stupid?

Thank you DW.

Though I think Lewis was more upset at the speech being changed so late in the day.

I'm not stupid, but you cannot answer a question.

So the shadow defence secretary is lying?

Only if you enjoy inflation.
If minimum wage increases cause inflation why was there no such increase on its introduction, or at any subsequent increase?
