Jeremy Corbyn

Sadly, as we see, those that blindly followed the Thatcherite dream still do so. Those that want a fair society that has compassion for those less fortunate = bad enemy within and must be Commies. Those that want to exploit their wealth and $#@! the rest = good as free market forces will make everything better. Those who foolishly think that by aligning themselves to the Thatcher dream means they will become better off than the rest = gullible.

If a new movement suddenly sprang up advocating we sell everything, put all the funds into one big pot and then distribute the wealth equally there wouldn't be many wealthy people subscribing (and I include ardent Socialists).

Capitalism/Free Markets are not the problem. In essence they produce dynamism, innovation and incentive. The problem is people who manipulate for their own gains and the power of monopolies and cartels. The conditions have to be free and ethical for the markets to flourish. It's all one big club that the majority are not invited to.

I thought this is what fora are for - to express your opinion, converse about posts/ links and pass comment. Or am I wrong?

i presume this is your acknowledgement that, in answer to your own question, you chose to take notice of hitchens and his article. well done.

Jeremy Corbyn says PM should come clean over family finances after Panama leak. Should Corbyn resign over this call?

Congrats on being the biggest wum in the thread. Gold star to you.

Yawn! Come on Tory boys. Give them some grief!

I know, imagine if she hadn't cheated on her taxes? The media furore wouldn't die down for weeks with the opposition calling for a full inquiry.

She's clearly a nasty piece of work but I am surprised she was elected given that should've been picked up by the local rag if nobody else.

Local journalists aren't paid to know about international affairs.

Is that it? I would expect thm to be all over this one too and Papper defending her anti-Zionist stance????

Picking a fight for what reason? I'm surprised you haven't condemned her yourself, or for that matter anybody else that openly supports Labour. Silence is deafening.

I didn't realise that I had to condemn her as the fact that I haven't actually supported her or opposed the Party action, a reasonably minded person can safely assume that I do not support her. The party has ultimately dealt with it correctly. I trust that my statement meets with your approval.

As for the reference to thm, he posted a couple of weeks ago about anti-Semitism in the Labour Party. I codemn unreservedly anyone who discrimates based on religion, gender, ethnicity, sexuality, age, etc.

That's such a lazy accusation to make. She's guilty, the evidence is there, the investigation will be short - what else is there to say?

That's a lot of words to not actually condemn this human being. Why don't you just say it?

Strange how people have a lot to say about other politicians but not one of their own (that's not aimed at TSB, more a generalisation). There could be open condemnation for her words or her views. There could be a call for an inquiry as to how she was elected and why this wasn't found out. There could be a discussion into THM's seemingly absurd allegation about anti-semitism in the Labour rank and file.

I understand that the majority view on here is left leaning so it is unlikely to happen but maybe instead of constantly hammering others people should discuss their own every now and again?
