Jeremy Corbyn

Corbyn has been pretty clear that there will be tax rises, so no, it's not something for nothing.

Yes, but if he would have said, would you be prepared to pay more taxes, there could well have been different answers and that wouldn't have fitted the agenda of the interviewer.

What a load of ignorant horse shit this chinless wonder spouts.

Some of us never slept.

Well yes, quite.

Lovely to see this sort of thing in the Daily Hate though. Might cause a few readers to start questioning the Thatcherite dream although the Corbyn video Vis linked doesn't fill me with hope.

Sadly, as we see, those that blindly followed the Thatcherite dream still do so. Those that want a fair society that has compassion for those less fortunate = bad enemy within and must be Commies. Those that want to exploit their wealth and fuck the rest = good as free market forces will make everything better. Those who foolishly think that by aligning themselves to the Thatcher dream means they will become better off than the rest = gullible.

Thatcherism is fine so long as you don't give a fuck about anyone else.

I think this is far to simplistic. Why is trying to better yourself seen as such an anethema to those that seek to equal society? I don't want society to be equal nor do I want nepotism, greed or selfishness to pervade over all. I also don't want to see anybody fall to the wayside because they haven't started in the right place or have fallen on hard times. What does that make me?

A fair society would not have any problem with those wanting to do better for themselves. I should know as I was in the post war working classes who could access a University education. I'm sorry that I have a simplistic view on life and have fairly basic needs. I certainly do not agree with anybody seeking to improve their lot at the exploitation of others. I would be grateful for you to tell me where I have gone wrong.

The problem is that it is still not what you know its who you know. Silver spoon in the mouth still gives a better start or foundation. The majority of university places at Cambridge or Oxford go to ex public school pupils.

Well I certainly don't class you or me as Commies and both of us do not want people to suffer just because they were less fortunate and nor do I intend ever to do so. Just because I am more right of centre than most on here does not mean I want others exploited for the sake of the few. That is too simplistic.

I am simplistic in my needs like you, as you well know, but I didn't call you simplistic that's just rude. I meant the explanation you put forward was, but I'm guessing you knew that. Simplistic explanation it may be, but stupid you ain't.

regardless of the political dogma, when someone writes about privatisation failing in the daily mail, rest assured, it has. you might not like all of the alternatives but we should be trying to find a better model than this one.

Ah right, I should take notice of Peter Hitchens?

That stain on humanity doesn't deserve the steam off my piss let alone my interest in his opinion. And let's not colour it as anything else, that's all it is.

lol, but you are taking notice of him johnny. has someone got a gun at your head forcing you to comment about him or are you acting under your own volition? noone on here is telling you to take notice - that's in your head.

I thought this is what fora are for - to express your opinion, converse about posts/ links and pass comment. Or am I wrong?
