Jeremy Corbyn

If I want Brexit stopped rather than a bugger's muddle she absolutely is.

I don't trust momentum as far as I could throw them. If Labour was still Blairite it would be no contest.

Not sure I would trust Blair that much further really.

Makes me wish for the resurrection of Screaming Lord Sutch - he was a clown, but it was deliberate & done on purpose (plus some of his policies were no more outlandish than others being proposed now).

Would want a true (sensible) Independant to stand here as not sure that I can vote for any of the other parties - not that it would make much difference as the Tories could put up Vlad the Impaler or Genghis Khan and they would get voted in for this constituency.

I kinda think a Lib Dem/ Green alliance might be our last, best, hope. Which isn't great.
No idea who the Tories will put up in my constituency given Mark Prisk will be standing down, but likely a scarecrow picked out the field would still win.

Where I've moved to is currently a marginal, and there has been a big influx of people with the new houses going up everywhere. May have to vote tactically to get rid of the vile woman currently sitting here, which will probably mean a vote for Labour.

If the Brexit Party put someone up for election then a tactical vote could be the winner if they split each others vote.
I'm in a solid Cons constituency but there has been a huge rise in Brexit followers and so I will be voting Lib Dem as a split of the Tory vote could see the Libs sneaking it. (If people don't know, I'm Labour)

Pretty much the same dilemma I face...with probably the same outcome. I've never voted Lib Dem in a GE in my life.

If there's a GE before Brexit then you'd assume that's because he couldn't get a deal. If that's the case in all likelihood either Johnson or his successor would be campaigning on a no deal or option of a no deal platform, therefore the Brexit Party wouldn't stand, with the potential exception of a token seat for Farage where the Tories won't put someone up

To my shame I have a brother in law who is a raving, racist, "make Britain great again" tosser who is an active Brexit Party member in the North East and I can assure you that they do not trust the Conservatives and will be standing against them no matter what in a GE... The amount of shite that gets posted on to my Facebook feed is depressing :icon_neutral:

Is he one of those nutjobs that posts about Muslims wanting to ban poppies and Christmas?

My father in law is, his Facebook is page upon page of it, pages on Halal meat being cruel etc ( the man has eaten more pate de foie gras than is humanly possible)
To be fair to him and to add some balance he did once come out with " there are so many homosexuals because the pits shut and we don't have conscription anymore"

We haven't spoken in over three years !

I'd vote for a turnip if it stood a chance of beating the Tory candidate. Though since our Tory MP rebelled and got kicked out, not sure who that will be.

So probably holding my nose and going for the Lib Dems, though the Greens are my natural home.

Hence why you'd vote for a turnip...

Gotta have a sound environmental policy, though. And not be racist - celeriac has as much right to its space in the allotment as any root veg.
