Jeremy Corbyn

I reckon the Tory conference could be even worse than Labour's.

They might well both be off. Got Parliament to attend now.

No.. Corbyn to speak today and watson speech is totally scrapped...which would have been the biggest embarrasment of many during this conference (if what was planned was going to happen)
Worked out quite nice for corbyn, would have been even better if he didnt have to get up and spout rubbish later on.

This is manna from heaven for Corbyn. Total distraction from what has been a shambolic conference.

I bet that chaos with Ed Miliband deal sounds pretty sweet to everybody right now

From a Labour MP reportedly to Kevin Schofield of politics.home

absolutely right. Labour are a disgrace of an opposition. They have opposed nothing.

You may not like them but your last sentence is ludicrous. T-Bag lost 33 votes in her 2 years or so in power and Alex the great hasn't won a vote yet. If Labour aren't opposing how on earth are all of the votes being lost by the government?

they should be MILES ahead of this shower. But Corbyn has done little or nothing to outwit the most moronic bunch ever to be in power. Its as if he doesnt want to be prime minister...... oh wait

So winning votes against the government isn't outwitting them? To oppose doesn't mean you are necessarily popular with the country at large.

I agree that he should be miles ahead given the current state of the government, but his own individual popularity and stance on Brexit / other matters means that he isn't.

Well corbyns promising a lot with extra money from that top 5% - the same 5% that will leave the country should Labour ever win an election.

Phil Collins isn't threatening to leave us again is he?

As for the top 5% I think they are safe from a majority Labour government whilst Jeremy and his chums are at the wheel.

His problem is that his Brexit policy is still a muddle. It’s trying to stay in both camps and appealing to neither. The other major parties have diametrically opposed but clear policies on that matter.

In this time of crisis the vast majority of the remainder of the announcements in the Corbyn speech are basically window dressing. There is one issue that needs dealing with at the moment and all the other stuff is stuck in the policy traffic jam behind that bottleneck.

Always threatened, never happens.

And I'm no Corbyn or Labour fan, but they'll have to go a long way to match the recent spending promises of the Tories - which all seems to be coming from some mythical Brexit dividend.

Labour are unvoteable for at the moment, I can't vote conservative unless BoJo leaves and Rory Stewart somehow becomes leader

If there were a GE who the feck are you supposed to vote for?

Lib-Dems

A Swinson government (which will never happen I know) kills Brexit dead on day one

I have no idea. Green is a wasted vote in a GE, I don't trust the Lib Dems and Labour are doing my nut in.

I guess it'll depend on the individuals.
