Apologies Darlo, I've got a certain member on the ignore list so haven't been following this too closely (although YW seems to have been put in a box and told what he thinks. Balls to thinking for yourself eh, get somebody who lives thousands of miles away to tell you).

Put me on ignore don't talk about me, I think that's fair. I don't put people on ignore, I think it"s ignorant and childish, but there you go.

When I was a lad, it was not the norm to go to university. To get a trade and work, was seen as the thing to do. I think it is a good thing that many more people have the opportunity today and in my opinion it should be free

However, the Tories need to keep the unemployment numbers down has led them to make all children stay on in secondary education or start an apprenticeship. Back in the day you would have "teacher training colleges" for people who want to head down that line but now it's University. Also back in the day we had Polytechnics however it's all University's now

It appears that we need more teachers and Doctors, discouraging people who want to study for jobs that we need filling, with hefty tuition fees doesn't see logical to me.

Yes, but surely if someone wants to put you on ignore, that can't read the whole conversation. Therefore, not only are they making assumptions not on the whole conversation, but are defeating the object by commenting about the poster who is on the ignore list.
I laughed a little when Johnny told me I am on his ignore list, as I think he has had more bans for his aggressive and rude posts than anyone who now posts on this forum. Hahaha.

I have been paying an average of £30,000 a year for my kids education for the last 5 years. That doesn't include accommodation. It wouldn't be so bad, but wages are really low for qualified people, when they start work, here.

I imagine the workplace accident and life changing injury it caused has dented the man's usual good spirits. Not to mention he's recently had a few family losses.

Being in the EU was fine for a group of people with interests in staying in, I understand that. The UK has become not such a nice place for millions of working class people, the millions who are actually working in poverty, the many who have to wait weeks to see a GP, the people who can't afford to leave their parents house and get a place of their own. The UK in the EU was not working for many UK citizens. That is why they voted to leave. You can disagree with their reasons, blame it all on British politicians etc, but the majority of people who voted have voted to leave.

We never voted for a certain political party, we voted to leave the EU and gain sovereignty of our own laws and control our own destiny.
I don't hate leavers and can understand why some voted to stay. However I can't understand people who read a newspaper that only gives critical one sided propaganda and then their readers regurgitate the same one-sided propaganda. Not saying you do, but it is happening and doesn't get us anywhere apart from arguing about something that was decided by a fair vote.
