January Transfer Window, 25/26 Season

I think he'll be fine at the next club he plays for, probably like he was last year for us. Not sure he's anything more than a lower mid table striker though.

His eventual goal tally that year masked a lot of anonymous games, and if he isn't scoring he's not much use. His hold up play is dreadful for someone his size, even when he is trying.

He was shit a lot of the time last season too.

I said in the summer that I thought his tally last season was a Hwang-esque over performance compared to the quality of the footballer. He's just not very good. His movement isn't sharp enough to play off the shoulder, he's not technically good enough to create his own chances, he's weak as piss and one-paced.

He had quite the catalogue of sitters last season too. Should have had 20.

He's a bit of a less lethal Darren Bent.

Last season he had Cunha and RAN setting up chances and from memory his finishing percentage was very good. Like Sa’s early form when he joined exceeding XG was never likely to last, especially as chances became fewer and the pressure built.

Tbf didnt a lot of his goals come when Cunha was having his enforced holidays?
He still had RAN playing with him of course and the rest of the team hadnt given up.
Whatever, he'll be gone soon enough.
As for his price, hopefully he will still get some kudos for last season and the excuse for this season will be the rst of the team and management. Hopefully some lunatic will offer 28m+ in January.

Couldn’t care less if they all go.

Not one of them I remotely care about.

JSL is nowhere near as good as he thinks he is either - West Ham will be a good fit for him.

Wolfe now linked with Villa as well as Brighton. Bizarre as he’s been very average at best.

See he had great metrics in his previous league and is one of the few for me that looks better now than he did at the start. I think in a much better team he would be solid enough.
As you say he’s solid enough but I’ve seen nothing to suggest he’d be an asset for a team in the top half of the PL let alone one currently in the top three.

If Wolfe stays , then he will get first team action from here till the end of the season - which he needs for the World Cup . If he leaves , he'll sit on a bench for 5 months - that won't help his World Cup chances .

He’ll go to the World cup regardless I’d say playing for us no hopers does him more damage than player a bit part at a club doing well.

Imagine finding yourself in a bit of a hole like West Ham are in, you're scouting players for January, and you've identified the type of player that you feel fits the bill as being up for the fight... and that player is JSL 🤣
