It couldn’t… could it?

Southampton deserved a point. Brighton had the better of both possession and number of attempts but we kept them at arms length. We have the GK with the highest save percentage in the league and the leagues second best defence. That's why we have points. Not because we are free scoring and playing free flowing football. Its great we are on a good run , but this squad is still not a top six squad for me, particular in the attacking third. Sorry. It is currently overperforming in terms of points. So how many of the games we've won lately should we have lost?
Yeah they did really. For large chunks of that game, certainly first half they were the better team.Southampton didn’t deserve a point. That’s bullshit.
yep I see that. I just dont think that we score enough goals to be a top 6 side. 1-0 seems to be the most prevalent result and thats always too close for comfort. A mistake , a worldy , an og , a deflection and that changes things a lot from 1-0. JWP free kick is an example of where a second goal really helped. Its good to see us scoring more than one but we have failed to score in 10? games this season out of 21. That's not top 6 form even if your points suggest otherwise. All subjective, but I think we are 3 points lower than the performances:
