January 2021 Transfer Window

I think we're recalling Cutrone because it's the smartest thing to do. If we find another striker brilliant, we can then try to do something with Cutrone before the end of the window. If we don't find another striker then Cutrone will get some game time.

If we do get another striker and don't move Cutrone on its not the end of the world.

The worst scenario is not having Cutrone and not finding another striker

You're too modest, mate...they demonstrably did... Four of them, within about two mins... Commander-in-chief
I was not aware of my power....I shall use it better in the future (sorry Jinks pal, I will buy you a pint when Boris lets me see you)

Anyway, back to loving Pizza and Pasta - I wonder if the Italian Fast Food van will reappear by the North Bank when we reopen. Amazingly that went when Patrick left us a year ago

Would be a bit one paced as a pairing I think.
Yes and we don't play in a style that could even make it work. If Fabio bulked up you could play the 2 together, but you'd need a Burnley approach of slinging it into the box and playing for second balls.

You're wasting time with nonsense like this when you could be 'liking' clique posts or banging on about the matchday thread!!! ;)
A traffic jam when you're already late
A no-smoking sign on your cigarette break
It's like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife
It's meeting the man of my dreams
And then meeting his beautiful wife
And isn't it ironic, don't you think?
A little too ironic
And, yeah, I really do think

No way he has actually posted that?

Not sure why we're always so bothered about this stuff. I know I'm in the minority here, but I don't think what 14 year olds say on Twitter makes any difference in the real world. What our owners, players and manager think and do are of infinitely greater consequence?
Actually I've been pleasantly surprised by the response to him coming back... Mostly positive

Cutrone and MGW seem like better options at this point in their development than Silva and Vitinha. Which does cast some shade on our summer transfer dealings as being less than adequate...

If we kept Patrick (subject to him impressing in training etc) - and signed say, Josh King I wouldn't be too upset as King can also play wide. King would be relatively cheap (£5m?), and then we could perhaps try to focus on a midfielder who can carry the ball from deep or a centre back with some pace and good 1v1 defending.

Timmy's View

"The pasta merchant is back." No surprise that Cutrone brought back from Fiorentina (0 goals from 12 sub apps) but I gather he'll now have a couple of weeks to impress before Wolves decide whether to make an addition late in the window

Or better still both
If possible!

We were linked with Simakan from Strasbourg last month, read some good things so that might tick the defender box if we could go for him. Then just return to Ligue Un for Soumare and the job is a good 'un :D

All Cutrone needs to do is score the winner v Albion and he’s set for the season.

I hope he does well. I can’t help but like the guy for some reason!
