Maybe, but if he is shot is there a point? Few matches to find out and then back to everything on Fabio. If it were me paying (thank the Lord it isn’t) I would do the loan with option on Jovic. Assuming Raul recovers we end up with over £115m worth of strikers.

Costa’s record from the other thread:

5 goals and 5 assists in 30 games last season and 2 goals in 7 this season.

3 months out with a herniated disc last season and 3 weeks out twice with muscle/ leg injuries since lockdown.

Of the names linked I'd certainly take Rondon ahead of Costa or Origi. Based on previous signings it will be someone I've never heard of. If we only sign one forward Costa would be a massive gamble given his injuries in last couple of years. Josh King wouldn't be the worst signing with the advantage he can play wide as well.
