It worked ok on Sunday, we were rocking a bit and while the withdrawal of Podence and then Fabio left us a bit toothless on the break ( Neto had at least one fantastic run though), the introduction of Neves initially and more importantly Kilman, made us look very secure the last 5 minutes I thought.And that is how you reply.
Fair enough. How should we try and close out games? I worry that our current strategy is flawed?
you could theoretically put Donk up front last 10 minutes for his physicality but you'd lose that defensively so may as well go with an actual striker, even if he is inexperienced. I've always thought it would be worth leaving Traore up on the half way line when we're under pressure and at corners, the opposition would have to leave 2 if not 3 players back
