Wasn't Saiss mainly a defensive midfielder? At least I have that image of him but might be mistaken.
When Saiss plays for Morocco is used as left sided Centre Back (in a 2 rather than a 3)

Donk is clearly a liability at the back though. He keeps missing spectacularly and we lose his ability in the midfield. He is a much better midfielder than defender, imho.

Apparently it has an option to buy with a “sizeable” transfer fee - I wonder what number that is for Bennett? I can’t see teams valuing him over £10m usually but in this day and age I feel like it could be as high as £15m

Oi! Back off! :coffee1:That one is bitter sweet. Great move for him, but I am sad to see him go. What a journey he has been part of. I shall always remember that tackle against Chelsea.
Nuno must think the world of Kilman to sanction this if we have no other centre back coming in.
Of course, it frees up the 5 shirt for Dias in the summer...

Number 2 on the list for Benno memories. His goal at Bristol City is number 1 for many reasons, the result and how important it was the time, the fans mental, the players mental and Nuno pissing off everyone in the directors box at Ashton Gate. Glorious.

Tim Vickery, who is clued up on South American football and players in general said that Campana is nowhere near Premier League level at the moment. Would be surprised if we see him yet.
Indeed - I was lukewarm on his initial signing but he's been superb for us. So many good, solid performances for us and gets to play for a team who may well be in the Champions League next season rather than sit in the stands at Molineux and we make £5m from a player who has given us 3 decent years' service who we brought in on a free transfer.
So this transfer window looks like being one where we make a net profit and end it with a smaller squad than when we started it. Not really what I was thinking we needed to do. Still time, but I fear some serious boo-hooing should this be the end of our business. Especially if we ultimately dont qualify for Europe. To keep and attract quality we have to aim for european qualification. I do agree that the front section interchanging looks exciting. At the moment though ,only Raul is scoring regularly

Traore has 5 in all competitions, 3 against Man City!
Jota and Doc have 3 league goals and their next.
