January 2020 transfer window

Oh yeah, its damning that we can't sell Mir, but are having to go down the route of an 18 month loan as he's never going to play for us again, and Samuels would surely only have been an option had a crisis hit the squad. The wish is possibly father of the thought, but if virtually back up option is going out on loan, there surely have to be irons in the fire at least.

Niall Ennis being recalled...

Dadashov is back too to cope with this end of days scenario

So are we now saying that we let Cutrone leave without having a replacement lined up? Beginning to look like it...

I'm not sure we'll miss someone who played 13 minutes since October I think

Nuno didn't trust him, he didn't want to be here - hardly someone we'd want to rely on.

We're better off saving the reported £60k per week for someone else

He wasn't playing even when Raul wasn't. No big deal IMO.

If he is unhappy do you keep him at the club? Considering Nuno has been all about the squad unity, if 1 player is unhappy you risk the atmosphere at the club.

No doubt we are trying to get a forward and I think we would be doing that even if Patty C had stayed but on his transfer I say Nuno put his view on the squad moral above losing a player.

You're probably right. One thing's for certain, once Nuno has decided he does nae want you, you're off...

No disrespect to you GW, but Boly - and even less so Jota - are not "like new signings." That must be the most overused expression in football. They're injured players who are coming back. All teams have injuries, all teams have players coming back.

I know what he means, as in terms of faces to freshen up the team and add to the squad, as in its 2 players who are available and haven’t been

Boly maybe but Jota will have missed a few games in a few weeks if he does return next week

Is there an ironic / Piss take lighten the mood meme I can use ?

Logged on this morning.

Read the absolute bollocks about Boly and Jota being like new signings and wondered if I had gone back in time to when we were force fed transfer Moxeyisms.

We are half way through the month and everything regarding transfers has been about leavers not incoming. The answer to our back up for Raul really isnt Ennis or BAS ffs?

Logging off.

Great news, Cyber. Someone on Twitter watched the U-23s last night. Said Renat Dedashov "looked really sharp and knows where the back of the net is." Fairly sure U-23s were playing Liverpool first XI last night so all your worries are over...

Gedson moves to Spurs on loan for 18 months.

Not convinced we were ever in for him too be honest.

You’d have to think with our connections and Portugal influence he’d be here if we wanted him

Yes if you believed comments of a few years ago if we picked someone Portuguese they came to us regardless !

Not sure. Mourihno is a Portugese influence too and if you read his comments on the BBC, his family/parents in London seem to be the biggest draw. Like you, I wouldn't say we were definitely in for him, but I don't think it's clear cut that someone couldn't choose Spurs over us.
