January 2020 transfer window

Can’t remember the last internet rumour that actually had any truth behind it. 17 days left, I really don’t think we’ll get anyone in tbh, we’re too worried about overpaying to land anyone big in January.

We thought in the summer and that’s why we are where we are.

Timmy II has popped the Lemar to Wolves bubble. Not happening, move on to the next bullshit rumour
Always fun when I get to use this gem:

day 14 and Cyber is in the diary room.

Still nothing see you tomorrow.

At least after tomorrow we will have one less competition to worry about.(probably)

Relax, Nuno said we are signing someone, he said he is relaxed as we will be signing players

I think most people's argument is both him and Jeff said that would be the case in the summer too.

I feel like we are going around in a circle :icon_lol:

We bought Vallejo, Cutrone, Neto.

2 did not work 1 is currently playing

Peroused another forum and it's the same bland characters who have a strange obsession with post counts that hardly attend games getting rather fretful and wistful at the lack of activity receiving cyber pats and mucho attention in a ' keep the faith - ignore the haters ' type of way. So much love out there.

It was a shit window.

Even more so with the benefit of hindsight.

We've had better. But we are still having a good season, if we can pick 3 new signings.
Plus kota and Boly that are like new signings

No disrespect to you GW, but Boly - and even less so Jota - are not "like new signings." That must be the most overused expression in football. They're injured players who are coming back. All teams have injuries, all teams have players coming back.

I can understand Cutrone to a degree, but I'm very surprised by the number of people unaware of Neves. He was literally one of the biggest prospects in world football when we signed him!
Neves had reportedly been scouted by Liverpool and Chelse before we snapped him up IIRC.

I know what he means, as in terms of faces to freshen up the team and add to the squad, as in its 2 players who are available and haven’t been

Boly maybe but Jota will have missed a few games in a few weeks if he does return next week

With Samuels gone on loan and Mir, not that either were likely to be involved, and Cutrone gone, does that mean we only have Raul and BAS as recognised central strikers in the squad?

Dadashov and Campbell I guess (we could also include Graham who has been used as an attacker since returning to the U23 squad....and isn't involced tonight so maybe involved at OT tomorrow...)

Forgot about Dadashov. Is Campbell not a outside forward?

Anyway, at the risk of 2+2=5, if we've this many forwards going out, we've got to be bringing in at least one.

Those going out, Samuel and Mir were as close to the 1st team as Paddy. So it doesn't change anything in that regards. Samuels had been pushed back into the U18 squad and Mir, well lets just say that gamble in beating Real Madrid to his sigature was a good deal for Madrid.
