It's Official!!: Europa League Thread

It’s a long way but only 3 hour time difference. They’ll be travelling in luxury.

It’s not ideal but it’s not the end of the world. KO 2-30 our time. They’ll be back here Thursday night

Had me looking at the annual leave calendar then

Looks to be 5pm AWAY, 7.45pm HOME - UK time

EDITED: wrong way round sorry.

Quick scan on Google shows away leg 5pm UK time, home leg TBC

Home leg is 7.45pm. I've just bought my ticket.

Playoff Round draw is due on Monday btw. Final two-leg qualifier before the group stages. We are seeded so hopefully a decent draw.

Where did you get them from, had a look on the site and I can't find them on there?

Need to get my supporter numbers up as missing Man U and Burnley and I've only just signed up the youngest...

Oh OK I thought Deutsch was joking. I can go to this one so will have a look.

Rangers have been grouped again with you. Obviously we have a tough game against Midtjylland to look forward too first.

GROUP 1

Seeded
1: Pyunik (ARM) / Wolverhampton Wanderers (ENG)
2: Legia Warszawa (POL) / Atromitos (GRE)
3: FCSB (ROU) / Mladá Boleslav (CZE)
4: Haugesund (NOR) / PSV Eindhoven (NED)

Unseeded
5: Torino (ITA) / Shakhtyor Soligorsk (BLR)
6: Ventspils (LVA) / Vitória SC (POR)
7: Austria Wien (AUT) / Apollon Limassol (CYP)
8: Midtjylland (DEN) / Rangers (SCO)

A pretty shite list of teams we could get. No thank you to Torino or Rangers

Nuno started his playing career at Vitoria didn't he?

I'd love to get Rangers, would be an amazing atmosphere at both games.

Surely you lads are looking at that thinking potential trips to

Italy and Portugal.

Reckon Denmark/Glasgow is 50/50 as is Austria/Cyprus.

Either way I don’t think yous should fear any of them.

I don't 'fear' any of them, but I worry that Rangers could/would raise their game against an English team.

No insult meant to Andygers but I would have serious concerns about Rangers coming to Wolverhampton. Thousands would travel from Glasgow and I could envisage all sorts of trouble and hassle. I want to enjoy a Europa League adventure rather than a Police State in town for the evening.

Torino would be quite testing, but also a potentially great tie.

My absolute preference would be the winners of Austria Vienna and Appolon Limmassol. Either sunny in Cyprus or on the lash in Vienna. What's not to like?
