Ah, so this is where the ghouls who enjoyed the another shooting thread decided to hang out.

I really don’t think the forum needs running commentary on this sort of thing

?

It's an event linked to what is happening or shall we ask PK and EP to resume their battle instead to fill the thread

5 posts, last mentioned 2 hours ago is hardly a running commentary

It’s the “look I can see a bloke about to get lynched” posting style. Sorry about the delay in picking up on it but was posted middle of the night Oz time.

Your post doesnt count nor the time difference. An exchange on a breaking news story done swiftly over a huge 5 posts between 2 posters. Had their say and popped off...a running commentary it wasn't

I do apologise for posting something I thought vaguely relevant on a thread, won’t happen again.

We will have to agree to disagree on this one then.

Hang on Paddy!
Crossing a bit of a fine line there.
This comes under General Chat. It is unfortunately a major event in our time.
So it gets discussed. A lot! People have strong views about it.
It's a rapidly changing event, so it promotes new debates and new discussions.
Why do you feel it necessary for anyone reading this thread, following it either silently or vociferously to be called a GHOUL?
or is it just your mood catching a bit of halloween atmosphere?
Are you suggesting that a relatively frequent updating on the latest bit of warmongery, be slowed down, as in maybe rationed to a low number a day? What in your mind constitutes 'a running commentary'? as opposed to an update (and more discussion)?

Also, whilst it seems that 'fine lines' are being crossed, I think this one maybe another...
Could I dare to suggest that you be careful about becoming the arbiter or the social conscience of TWF by suggesting what TWF needs or doesn't need.

Isn't that what you are doing here?

You can suggest whatever you like WH. I certainly won’t be offended.

I just thought the way it was being posted was off, but I was probably in a bad mood about something. Pay it no mind.

I actually looked in the cupboard this morning and the only flavour was hoi sin chicken. They are rancid, to say the least. I really miss Walkers Smoky Bacon or Salt and Vinegar.

Well, no, not really Mr T.
I used to post stuff on the 'Another Shooting' thread, but quite a few people questioned me doing it , it wasn't provoking any discussion, it was just posting another statistic. So I don't post on there anymore. You'd think the vitriol it generated, it would have been deleted, but no. It just sits there.
But this is leading into a different discussion and not for this thread.

Salt and vinegar are ok and i can get them here, but there is not a crisp better than walkers cheese and onion, and i cant find them anywhere.

Labour MP suspended for this:

“We won’t rest until we have justice, until all people, Israelis and Palestinians, between the river and the sea can live in peaceful liberty.”

I know you know this is seen as anti-Semitic by the Jewish community as it is used as a chant to mean the destruction of Israel.

For context the MP also said it at a pro-Palestianian rally at the weekend. That is definitely anti-Semitic and he rightfully was suspended.

I think you're just trolling this thread at this point and it's pretty disgraceful. The fact that you are bold enough to print that statement shows your true colours.

The "River to the sea" phrase used in any context is just wrong. There is no mitigation granted by his other words.

It's like saying I'm not racist because I have a black friend while saying something racist.

There are many ways to express solidarity with the people of Gaza in the face of their despotic rulers and Israeli bombardment without resorting to thisntype of language.

If he truly meant to say he wanted peace, why didn't he just say that?
