Israel-Palestine

I don't need you to condemn anything 😅 (maybe Johnny was onto something with the 'narcissism' jibe), and you don't have to respond to the post!

So are you saying that it's obvious that all atrocities are to be condemned, so we don't need to condemn them vocally? It's just to be taken as read?
Well this again is odd, given that on the Keir thread you tried to drag me into a conversation (you literally @'ed me) I had not been a part of during the Villa game (Why weren't you watching Wolves rather than worrying about my opinion?), and of course how Johnny was abusively demanding I condemn what happened on the 7th as if I am a politician or spokesperson that is required to do so!

And yes people getting murdered is always an atrocity! Of course it is? Are you suggesting it isn't, and that normal people aren't always saddened or sickened by it?

People are killed all over the world every day, it is sad and it's shit, its utterly bizarre that you need to see people on a Wolves forum that you've never met, condemn those events?

In fact the Swedish people that were killed the other day, I haven't seen you "condemn" that. But I absolutely know you think it's abhorrent!

Are you going to answer my question?

You're either very naive, or about 10% as smart as you think you are.

Firstly, the post that you've reacted hysterically to was nothing to do with TWF, or YOU, it was about celebrities making a big show about Israel's 'war crimes', without a peep about the atrocities of 7th October.

If atrocities don't need to be condemned, why were they only condemning what they perceive Israel to be doing?

If you don't realise that there are plenty of people (online and IRL) who behave, talk and think in ways that are absolutely not 'normal' when it comes to this poisonous conflict, and plenty of people who are seemingly not so saddened and sickened by some atrocities compared to others, then change the above post to 5%

Wind your neck in there, I don't abusively demand anything from you

I love how you set the timelines on the responses to things.

Today I'm only allowed to respond to your specific post, and not consider anything you've posted prior to that on this very subject.

And also how you've told people off for considering what has gone on before October the 7th as if its not relevant.

And now you think I've said atrocities don't need to be condemned, I'm not saying that at all. I'm saying that if a person doesn't actively condemn something it doesn't mean that they think what happened is a good thing or that they welcome it!

It's all so bloody binary with you.

Well those people are not normal then are they!?

Thing is, although it's not a view I share myself, I can understand why people would think Palestinians have had an absolute kicking for decades, and so Israel have earned a bloody nose. To use a really clunky analogy (and it's not meant to dehumanise the Palestinian people FTAOD) -If a zookeeper spends years kicking a lion, he can't be surprised if one day he gets his leg ripped off.

But the problem is, it's the IDF have that been doing the kicking, not the Israeli people. But it's the Israeli people that have been the revenge, and now to stretch the analogy further, the zookeeper wants to put the lion down.

Maybe naively, but I think basically everybody believes this:

What the IDF have done to the Palestinian people over the last few decades is absolutely abhorrent
What Hamas have done to the Israeli people is absolutely abhorrent.
What the IDF are now doing to the Palestinian people is absolutely abhorrent.

There may be differences in method, but dead babies are dead babies, whether bombed, shot, beheaded or burnt. There are no sides to take, because all of Hamas, PIJ, and the IDF are despicable people, murdering innocent civilians in the name of a cause that will literally never be satisfied. Fucking cunts, the lot of them

Absolutely this, 100%.

As you say I don't see how it will ever end.

All this obfuscation is so predictable and so tiresome.

You're 'allowed' to do whatever you want (yet you were telling me what I'm allowed to do during a Wolves game half an hour ago...)!

You started ranting on at me about TWF, I was just pointing out that the issue I was highlighting this morning had F all to do with the forum. Rant away if you like, but it's not relevant.

If someone* doesn't want to actively condemn anything, that's fine.

If someone is making a big deal of only actively condemning one side, why is that?

*I was going to use the generic 'you' here, but didn't want you thinking I was talking about you again

And you are allowed to try and drag me into a conversation I've not been a part of if you like.

And I am allowed to point out it's weird, because I feel it is, especially as it occurred during a Wolves game, and especially as you and your buddy are calling me a narcissist when I feel you are aiming at least some of your anger/annoyance towards me.

Anyway this is fucking tedious for everyone involved.
