If you mean the people that have continually been abused, ridiculed, patronised, threatened, just generally made to feel irritated and felt uncomfortable about posting, then yes.

I count both Johnny and EP as personal friends and they appear to be fire and ice in this argument. So other than being the Derek Smalls lukewarm water here, what I would say is that a permanent ban doesn't seem right to me when there are multiple posters that are far worse and contribute ZERO other than pointless antagonism and forum politics.

But hey, I don't have any say here. I'm Ross Kemp on the verge of joining Family Affairs. They're good people. There's no bullying at Family Affairs.

Every single report that's made gets looked at, so if you feel someone has overstepped the line for whatever reason then please use the report function and it'll get discussed. Everyone is treated the same.

We generally try and keep things lenient and not be a forum that dishes out bans for every single insult or case of bad language. Context and intent matters and we take previous behaviour into account if it's just a one off or out of character. We also warn and have a word with people over PM which members don't always see.

This particular situation has been rumbling on for a long time now with numerous warnings and short term bans. The collective opinion is that it was the final straw when he expressed that he'd enjoy seeing another forum member's head stoved in.

Plus you also wouldn't be aware of the abusive language he often directed at the moderating team and other posters in the comments section of the report function when he used to report other posters. Those comments aren't seen publicly either.

The reason I'm telling you this is that it's never as black and white or simplistic as it seems on the surface.

Johnny has multiple times been banned for unpleasant and aggressive posting towards others. He trolls people's posts with passive aggressive responses and plays victim when people react. In my opinion the people who are defending him fall into 1 of 2 categories:

1. They are not someone who has been a victim of his unpleasant behaviour, or

2. They act in a very similar way so see nothing wrong with it.

He's no great loss, and the people on here making him out to be some kind of fucking martyr need to ask themselves why are they happy to condone the constant bullshit that he has perpetrated on here? Would you be happy to have been targeted (and I use this word advisedly because he deliberately has targeted people he has had disagreements with) by him?

I think this is a good point, he often disagrees with you or Del, but he doesn't dare go at you two in the same way as he would at others he has less respect for.

So you don't experience it and therefore don't really understand what Dire is saying.

He has made posting on here a misery for loads of, and many have just stopped posting as a result.
