How long has Corbyn got left?

I think it is a bit rich to expect Greens to just step aside. They had a pact with Plaid and the Lib Dems. Labour refused to join in. Plus Labour actively campaigned against former Labour MPs standing as Liberals, such as Luciana Berger, and split the the vote to gift the Tories the seat. Unless Labour changes I cannot see another party entering into such an agreement.

Not sure why. Labour have a shot at winning and the Greens don't. Labour have to campaign against Lib Dems as they are poles apart on policy. Be like them making a pact with Farage.

And you'll be moaning when they don't win again with that mindset.

The corbynite nonsense that it was Brexit that lost the election and all else was rosy was just that. Nonsense from the deluded.

Just wanted to emphasise this point. There is a certain arrogance amongst some of the Momentum crowd that anyone not with them is helping the Tories at best, secretly is one at worst. For Labour to campaign against people like Luciana Berger (my old MP), considering the abuse which she has received (and they enabled) was disgraceful. Some of the stuff that I have not only read online but heard people say about her myself is vile.

If you will excuse me, I will come in over the top of your post and agree loads.

If I can also relate it to the post from Templeton above...

So the Lib Dems don't share policies with momentum. No shit. But because Berger defected after the great leader did absolutely fuck all about the disgraceful abuse she was getting he ordered an assault on her seat when other parties were combining forces against the Tories. Net result he gifted BORIS FUCKING JOHNSON a seat. I bet he and Jezza share LOADS of policy similarities.

It's that sort of fucking codswallop that really fucking pisses me off with momentum. And don't even get me started on referring to the Lib Dems as "yellow tories". Everything Corbyn has done as leader of the opposition has basically been lining up an AK47 on both of his feet and pulling the trigger.

Active on there I see sir.

Most of it seems to be "it's not our fault, everything we came up with is ace and that damn nasty public were obviously tory brexit cunts"

Fuck off and Die Momentum

The whole 'let's blame it on X' where X is one of centrists, Blairites, Jews, Jewish Blairite centrists, the media etc is fucking tiresome

If the current incumbents can't beat those things then they'll also lose in 2024. Time to stand aside.

You know they're less than 10% of the membership right?

No, no... Everyone who is a member of the Labour Party MUST be a member of Momentum. I've seen it in the press and on here so it must be true

How's the far left position working out for you Corbyn acolytes?

I saw the magnificent Richard Burgon interview today, my word, I bet the Tories are glad such intellectual behemoths are in the running to run the party. No wonder there's a hashtag to get him elected.

If you think the far left position is a good one to take going forward you have learnt the square root of fuck all from the worst result for Labour since 1935.

About 1/3 of the Labour membership joined in 2015, so whether they identify as Momentum or not they are Corbynistas. A further significant percentage of existing members such as Darlo also come from the deluded left, obsessed by purity rather than effectiveness.

So, because I'm a member of the Labour Party I'm "far left" not just a "socialist" then? Rather be labeled as that then as an uncaring, money grabbing, "I'm alright Jack fuck the poor and needy" Tory fuck-knuckle

Indeed. Either that or 'far left'. I'm gutted Labour lost. Was really looking forward to the Gulags.

I've been a member of the Party for a large part of my working life and yes, I voted for Corbyn in his run for leadership.

It is clear that the "experiment" of having a leader who actually cares about the policies he puts his name to isn't for the people and so it's back to finding someone who will appeal to the central leaning Labour and the "I'm not as raving mental as the ERG" Tory voters

I think it would be a big mistake to move rightwards - the policies weren't the problem. Starmer made some excellent comments today and he certainly looks like a PM. It'll be him or Rayner for me.

Firstly I didn't call you far left, I said you were from the deluded left

Secondly if you think I'm a Tory you are incorrect. I've voted Labour at every single general election I could apart from 2005 because of Iraq, including last week.

Thirdly in 2015 you said you said you'd rather have a Labour Party in opposition in the mould of Corbyn than in power in the mould of Blair. This is your shit so own it.

Fourthly because of the above you are an enabler of the "Tory fuck-knuckles", but you carry on yearning for your purity, but it will NEVER be elected and while you continue to do so the country will continue to be fucked by them

I don't know your age, I don't know you but... You have vote Labour all your life (apart from 2005) but you aren't "left" or "socialist"??
