How long has Corbyn got left?

Corbyn might be PM but for his fuck up over Brexit. That's what turned the marginals. I think his tax policy insane but I like people who look out for the Palestinians.

Corbyn was nowhere near being PM, Brexit be damned. His most impressive achievement as Labour leader was still losing to Theresa May, for God's sake.

Jess Phillips has dropped pout of the Leadership race... Shame

Lavery is such a fucking prick. That statement is going to have the completely opposite effect.

Unite Union, McCluskey and Lavery backing Long Bailey. They are really putting together a dream team.

What a shock. McCluskey backing the most left wing candidate in the field. He will be whimpering if Starmer wins.

Not sure a left wing candidate is a bad thing if they assemble a credible team with realistic aspirations. Blairism is not necessarily a defined option.

I think it is quite simple. While there is a bimbling fool in number ten you want the most polished dispatch box performer as leader of the opposition. And that is Starmer by an absolute mile.

Noooooo. Wouldn't dispute he's got a few braincells but he has the charisma of a pavement pizza. He always looks like he wants to cry. Remove the toxics like Thornberry, Abbott, and anybody else that can't do interviews without crashing. Stop alienating people telling them they are privileged, treat all people the same and Long-Bailey is feisty enough to do a Thatcher. Rid the Labour Party of the candy floss Liberalism and engage.

Problem is most people don't think or care about politics much. A lot of people I know who disliked Corbyn said they would happily vote for Keir Starmer. The reasons they disliked Corbyn were almost all made up (he's a terrorist lover) but their minds were made up. Feedback was similar when canvassing. Same with Starmer - most of them don't know or care why - they just like the look of him.

I'm voting for him because he's made excellent noises about not throwing the baby out with the bathwater. He might be lying to hoover the lefty vote but I don't think that's the case.

Hes never going away, is he?

The narcissism of thinking that people will only care about that if he's the messenger. That's the problem.

I’m at the leadership hustings in Nottingham and have managed to sit near some Momentum/RLB Fanboi’s.

One of their friends just turned up late and greeted them with “Morning Comrades”

Unfortunately there was no irony.

'Comrade' has been commonly used in the Labour Party for decades...

North Islington selects Starmer.

Bit of a turn up with it been Corbyns stomping ground.
