Good people of Britain...........PANIC

Just done an evening ride and back from the pub a bit pissed. Crazy warm. The net says 16 degrees at nearly midnight.

Was a little shower when in the boozer and noticed when home the car is covered in that dirty sandy rain. Not sure what to read into that but all very odd for the middle of October.
I've walked to and from the pub tonight and got fucking soaked both ways.

Hot air over North Africa coming North and sand is taken up in the wind and the evaporation/condensation processes.

Christ it is hot here this week. Been out this morning fixing some connections on solar panels for a friend and got absolutely cooked. Humid as hell as well so I wouldn't be shocked if a severe storm arrives. There is an anvil going up the other side of the mountains so that is 50k away i guess.

It was also hazy last night from the first proper bushfire of the season. It's a tinderbox already. We need rain.

If you think that's bad just wait until January/February.

You'll be taking your jumper off.

It's been about 32 degrees today. Mahoosive storm cell rolling in which should be a good watch.

Two days of really big evening storms here. Spectacular shows. I have also discovered that if you say "looking black over bill's mother's" most australians look at you as if you have two heads.

Have you tried saying “ it’s fucking looking fucking black over fucking bills fucking mothers” they’ll think you’re a native

I first heard it when I was about 9 and my Mom said it was looking dark over Bill's mother's. Now, there was an old chap called Bill who lived 2 doors away and I was shocked to hear he still had a mother until Mom explained the saying to me

Years ago, my mom said it to the woman next door. Who looked at her with a puzzled expression.
My mother only found out a while later that the woman's husband's name was Bill and that he was raised about 40 miles away 😄

That article is worse than a 90's virus infected PC for unwanted adverts appearing everywhere

Geographically speaking the following is nonsense.

'By 6pm, most of the UK will be blanketed with a carpet of snow the arrival of an enormous frosty weather front stretching from the highest reaches of Scotland, all the way down to the northern tip of Europe.'

That would be nice. Mix of snow and rain down here, so very cold and wet on the way to the station... Grim 🥶

Yep a few inches on the gardens here in Newport too, roads and footpaths are just wet though so shouldn't be any issues traffic wise.
