doesn't matter which way you are going, the wind is always against you on a bike!
Windy it is - 70 mph down here.Windy ay it. Just been to fetch the bin back in, found it 3 doors down and in the road.
Yep Godfathers or concrete posts are the way forwardSlap godfathers on all the fence posts and slot new panels in and all should be good in high winds for years and years.
Not unless the wind speed is greater than the road speed in the same direction.doesn't matter which way you are going, the wind is always against you on a bike!
Never heard them called that, but you learn something new every dayThat's what godfathers are
Our next door neighbour put godfathers in just before we moved in, that was 37 years ago, they're still there. In that time 2 posts have rotted away around the concrete and been replaced, all the others are original and still in decent nick. They're a good option.Never heard them called that, but you learn something new every day
Installed them before - just didn't know that's what they were called.Yep. You dig them in about two feet, bolt them to the fence post and pour fast set concrete into the hole. It won't move this side of a tornado.
your brother? Then again in the West Country they are probably known as something else anyway.
