I rather wanted to post that when I saw it earlier.
Yes, the Summer of 76 was three months long, didn't it also snow really late in the year as well ??Yeah the extreme highs we're getting now are a bit hotter but nowhere near the length of time of 76, went on for weeks day after day.
Anyway whatever, we need to do something about it.
Petrichor! At long last a thunderstorm. Everything smells funny. It’s wonderful.
Could have moved over here as well, we had rain most of the day.AVOID the hottest day on record by simply moving to Scotland.
Not here in Dublin we didnt. Hot and unbearably humid since Saturday.Could have moved over here as well, we had rain most of the day.
Last night the upstairs landing was the coolest place in the house weirdly (maybe cos it's dark and gets no sunlight). But this morning it's the hottest, muggiest part of the house.Weird in my house today the way the heat is lingering in some places.
Downstairs toilet is usually the coldest room in the house but today it's like a little torture chamber. Random surfaces still noticably warmer to the touch than they normally would be.
Just trying to get some air circulating about as it's actually quite pleasant outside, particularly on the back where it's still in the shade.
I tried to post these last night but gave up as it wouldn't copy and paste from the page I was viewing them on. The Express was just as bad insinuating that those who work from home were actually on the beach because the beaches were busy. The good old Mail.
Tuesday - Stop moaning snowflakes, it's Summer time
Today - SHIT, ITS REALLY HOT AND THE COUNTRY IS ON FIRE...PANIC PANIC
