3rd would be someone to drive scouting and data analytics for transfers, loans and developments. Pointless having a cat 1 academy and producing players that are leaving on free or sold from almost nothing. They will justify selling Mane and Gibbs-White as a value for its success. I disagree with that Padd. People keep talking about our lack of structure and lack of staff in key roles with the requirements to do the role, the constant promotion from within despite a lack of prior success is an indicator of this. And it feels like our own internal team won't adapt or change.

Shi talks about having a new blueprint for consultation to Guo ready by the end of this season or potentially for the start of next. I don't have any faith in him being in charge of that. I want someone who has done that role successfully elsewhere to be involved and potentially advise or at least make suggestions as its abundant we don't have the expertise already in place given our post nuno direction.
