Yeah, there was a small chain - another was just north of the UMIST campus, and there was another in Fallowfield.

Krunchy Fried Chicken

And my personal favourite (name wise, I never went in there): Hentucky Fried Chicken

There was an abundance of pigeons around the main road running down Rusholme but I'm sure it was just coincidence that there were all these fried chicken outlets
