It's November 5th, which is fireworks night here. Until Del pointed it out I'd not considered the alternative interpretation. It is insensitive, but it's not malicious, just shit and unfunny as usual.I can’t believe how badly this went over my head at first read.
The whole argument is weakened with the first example. That's not VAR, it's a shit law and the correct decision based on it at the time. Cba reading after that
Some of his reasoning is a bit blinkered, but Christ, when you watch one after the other it really makes you realise how many times we’ve been done over.
I'm not going to comment on whether its funny or not, that's down to the individual but I must be thick also, don't understand why its crass and insensitive? Unless you're a very sensitive pet owner? These comics are frequently unfunny but to get one so crass and insensitive at the same time as being just the usual shit is quite some going.
Israel / GazaI'm not going to comment on whether its funny or not, that's down to the individual but I must be thick also, don't understand why its crass and insensitive? Unless you're a very sensitive pet owner?
Not really, maybe he gets the first one wrong but doesn't mean the rest is irrelevant. The whole argument is weakened with the first example. That's not VAR, it's a shit law and the correct decision based on it at the time. Cba reading after that
You start like that then you just look paranoid. It kills the credibility of anything else you sayNot really, maybe he gets the first one wrong but doesn't mean the rest is irrelevant.
Bonfire Night was my first thought, as well. It's November 5th, which is fireworks night here. Until Del pointed it out I'd not considered the alternative interpretation. It is insensitive, but it's not malicious, just shit and unfunny as usual.
Half the thread is innacurate. Boly’s was the rules, Neves’ goal didn’t get overruled and was checked forensically like offside like all the others, Mahrez is shit - but they were getting given at the time, the ball didn’t hit VVDs hand, Jonny was offside, Raul deflected the ball with his hand, Neto was offside. So that’s the first 7 and they were all the correct decision at the time with only the Mahrez one a bit shit. The whole argument is weakened with the first example. That's not VAR, it's a shit law and the correct decision based on it at the time. Cba reading after that
That's entirely up to you, chum. The whole argument is weakened with the first example. That's not VAR, it's a shit law and the correct decision based on it at the time. Cba reading after that
Does anyone really think that cartoon has anything related to the horrendous conflict in Israel/Gaza, its surely just a jibe at VAR using fireworks over a Bonfire night (weekend).Israel / Gaza

Bonfire Night was my first thought, as well.
I’m learning!
I take your point though. Including things which are not VAR errors but what the rules were at the time suggests not the most objective views. You start like that then you just look paranoid. It kills the credibility of anything else you say
They all get in a tinted window people-carrier parked as close to the officials entrance as they can get it. No walking down the Waterloo Road for them.A bit passive aggressive, and get the officials worried from the off about what their walk to the car is gonna be like.
Slow your roll, Twinings.(Hot) tea and milk next
So they have to walk to a car then. As I suggested. They all get in a tinted window people-carrier parked as close to the officials entrance as they can get it. No walking down the Waterloo Road for them.
