General Wolves News

Just generally, if you're saying Wolves are in a "strong position" (we aren't really, we have a very expensive forward who we don't really want or trust, with a crap record) then the alternative must be that Fabio is. But he isn't at all.

I think the biggest issue is that we were managed by a cuntrocket when Fab was last here.

The idea of Fabio having any leverage is laughable.

He had an average record for half a season in Belgium. A league where Paul Onuachu scored 70 goals in three seasons. One of the worst Premier League players I've seen in the last 10 years. Then couldn't get a game ahead of Luuk de Jong in the Netherlands.
There’s plenty to criticise the Fabio deal and himself with but don’t think either of those are and i will reiterate it every time it’s brought up.

Anderlecht were a mess and didn’t really improve until everything was settled after Christmas. Up until the manager losing the plot Fabio looked head and shoulders their best player and his record showed that.

The De Jong thing is nonsense as well isn’t it, not easy to displace the club captain who scored 11 goals in 15 games after Fabio signed. Had to play lw and play backup to De Jong when rotated. Actually looked very good when play with LDJ.

Delete the name and anything you know about him and ask yourself if we'd be happy to pay £20m for a forward with that 2022/23 record.

I doubt you would.

That’s not my point though. I’m not backing Fabio up just pointing out that saying he couldn’t displace LDJ isn’t the whole story is it and neither is saying his record in Belgium is average.

There’s plenty of other things you could criticise but not playing ahead of a club captain that’s scored 11 in 15 is definitely not one.

Of course you can, if he's the generational talent that our clown fans think he is then he'd be an absolute standout player in these leagues, not Andy Keogh with less skill.

Then you watch him do a Willian José impression for Portugal U21s.

He isn't very good.

Yeah. Kenny Hibbitt scored IIRC. Forest players were holidaying in Majorca when we won. We also won Derby the title in 72 when we beat lufc 2-1.
It was Derby that were in Majorca, Forest would have been doing their bit by winning their game.

No one here is saying he’s a generational talent though are they. I’d rather just look at him as an individual rather than what others have said. Not getting in ahead of LDJ as a 19 year old on loan when the club captain is scoring nearly every game is just reaching.

Criticising his attitude here at times like Brighton away, his ego, his performances in games you’ve seen like Portugal u21s etc… is fair for me but not the PSV/Anderlecht stuff.

Just noticed we scored 7 less goals last season than we did the season we were relegated under Dave Jones.

Jeeeesssh.

Anderlecht fans hated Fábio and not just because he snaked them and left as soon as the going got tough. After his initial flurry of goals against Walloon farmers he struggled in bigger games and was described as clumsy and selfish.

Aren’t they waiting on the Molineux Quarter plans to be finalised before they do anything with the stadium?

And then another 10 years for it to be delivered?

Don't expect us to make any major signings that aren't cheap as chips ones. Forget Alex Scott, that's not happening unless Fosun put their hands in their pockets, which is unlikely.
Pray tell.
