General Wolves News

Of course, i agree, but we are where we are.

It wouldn't surprise me if we follow a similar model to Watford over the next few years.
That would be a disaster and I doubt the fans here would accept that at all, I think we have a lot more of a hostile core of fans when things are not going well than Watford and it would give the owners a very hard time.

We need to be following the Leicester model rather than the Watford model.
So, winning the League under Laga, appointment of one of his coaching team to replace him followed by a "meh" manager followed by Stevie G leaving Rangers just as they about to do the treble treble. Going to be a fun few years

Something like that. I was more thinking of shrewd recruitment and sale of one major player a year to fund the next seasons recruitment.

and also, obviously, not going to get that sort of transfer policy when we have Jorge behind the wheel.

I can't understand the negativity about Bruno Lage. We have to see some games before giving him abuse.
I don't think he's getting abuse, just a healthy dose of scepticism. The abuse will follow pretty soon if the sceptics are proven to be correct. I would add the abuse will be from lots of folk, and not all sceptics will be abusive.

Neves, Mout & Semedo return to training on Monday
Donck and Mosquera return when we go to Spain. Sa will join up in Spain after his quarantine
Coady and Traore back after our trip to Spain.

Yeah that is very interesting. Does the usual “excited to meet and work with new manager” platitudes but then says that. Also even more interesting because it probably spells end of his time as a starter? We will see how Bruno uses him anyway

Quite surprised by this on Nuno leaving "I don’t mean it to sound bad, but it felt like the club needed it, that little bit of a refresh.”
This seems quite important to me, it was more about the fact Nuno had been here a while rather than his skills as manager.

Not for one second am I thinking Coads thinks Nuno is shit or anything. Just for me, it says things had happened last season to the point even Coady agrees something had to change. 4 or so years ago Coady was a nothing player until Nuno arrived and essentially changed his career so for him to say it had to change and be refreshed says a lot.

That or he hasn't forgiven him for subbing him v WBA...

Not sure he's doing much more than towing the company line to be honest. He's effervescent about Bruno based on a couple of texts. He knows the right thing to say.

Nice to hear he's getting his coaching licenses going already as well.
