General Wolves News

I'm not sure it's as cut and dry as Paddy suggests but the source for the Daily Mail article is the article in the Mirror...

Equally, if Nuno was absolutely happy with everything, wouldn't he have signed a new contract?

Exactly. I don’t think he wants to leave or is going to walk but at the same time the garden isn’t rosey. Comes back to that “Burying their head in the sand” phrase. Some people just have a penchant for doing so.

Presume he's not back until early this week. If we start the season without him signing then I think it gains credibility, if he goes beyond the window closing without doing so it definitely does. At the moment, I'd note but dismiss

While others wallow in being relentlessly negative and put people off even wanting to post. Now THATS fucking tedious.

I’ll be worried if he hasn’t signed a new deal by the end of the transfer window.

As for the article about limited funds it states that we need 15m because funds are tight but are after 2 players for 47m. It doesn’t quite stack up and can anyone really see Traore leaving for 40m?

I'm sure it's not your intention, but as someone who doesn't have 1000s of posts and is often painted as 'negative' myself, I think seeing experienced posters trying to guilt trip others into modifying what they say to be more 'positive' comes across, frankly, as a bit sinister.

I don't think trying to shame divergence of opinion is going to help anyone or improve anything. It's just football talk!

Sinister? Really? That’s a bit of a leap. It seems to me that anyone saying “trust the club” is getting automatically double and triple teamed by posters trying to shout them down. That’s why it is tedious. It’s all very polarised. Now equally consensus is rather dull but the extreme distance between stances is quite surprising.

Double and triple teamed!? I don't think that's often the case, I think the vast majority of people on here are of the 'trust the club' variety. I presume you've seen Twitter and other Wolves forums!! This is as good as it gets for enlightened, intelligent, 'look at where we've come from' Wolves fans! But it doesn't mean we can't have different views on a player, a match or where the club is going.

If we're talking about triple teaming then look at the group shoeing Cyber got in the early hours of the morning (and I can understand why people disagreed with him btw). Cyber didn't counter it by saying he might not post again because of them and their opinions, and if he did I would expect the people who'd argued with him to feel quite crappy and probably resentful that he went down that road

We all love Wolves and sometimes football talk is exhausting. When I have a critical opinion of a situation sometimes I find it tedious to read reams of 'trust the club' stuff, the solution is I take a break myself, I don't put the burden on those with a different view.

Story says the result is positive, but Uefa protocol requires a second test to confirm.

I got it from here

If it is a positive and hopefully asymptomatic the NFL policy which I'm assuming is standard for sports in general is two negative tests a minimum of 7 days after the positive. Theoretically he could be training with Wolves at the same time as if he'd gone away

Adama winning the Community award strikes me as odd. I thought he is very shy and not a 'natural' community person. Would have thought Coady is more likely.

Kids love him (mine included when he came over after one game). Some great videos of him with kids on wolves social media last season too - come across very well and seems a really nice guy.

He was big on the community side of things at Boro as well

Just because he's shy doesn't mean he doesn't know how to do community work.
