I was at the England v Ghana game when Jarvis was brought on which was a nice experience - was on a school trip strangely enough, so hope Coady gets some minutes in one of these games.
Imagine travelling back in time and telling a wolves fan in early 2017 :-
Coady will be called up for England
Doherty will be transferred for £15m and it will be considered cheap
Wolves get to fa cup semi
Wolves get to Europa quarter finals
Two 7th finishes in the premier league
Assuming any signings don't happen this week then because of Internationals 7or8 of our starting 11 versus Sheff Utd will be at the club a few days beforehand. Obviously all teams are hit by call ups, but we are the only ones who haven't gone back to training yet who are playing that weekend. Difficult to see how we won't be undercooked. Utd have already been back a week, but will lose about half of their side. None of this is a particular criticism as the chances are signings wouldn't be here for the same reasons, but does put us at a significant advantage
Usual media at work. Club becomes media darling, around 12 months later looks a threat to status quo - club have no money, stars want to leave, manager unhappy. Happened with Leicester, happening with us, they'll start with Sheff Utd next and Leeds will be the new darlings for a while.
