General Wolves News

Delighted for Nouha, hope he gets some minutes. And let's hope Hunte's loan has a similar effect on him that it did to Graham at Oxford...

Hope Dicko comes through it unscathed... #likeanewsigning

From those who have seen Bod play so far, would he partner well with Dicko?

I think he'd partner well with everyone, he can do a bit of everything so would fit right in with anyone and any style we play.

Yes but we'd have to go 4-4-2 as I think Dicko would be wasted pushed out wide in the role Mason did on Saturday. If we did go 4-4-2 the score may well be high as those 2 should get a hat full.

Be nice to see the Prince alongside Tex in the centre of midfield then with two actual wingers.

but what about Talisca in the middle With Tex, hes signing in 48 hours dont you know !! :D

Dicko starts!

Team: Burgoyne; Odoffin, Hayden, Leak, O'Hanlon; Finnie, Gibbs-White, Armstrong, Randall; Dicko and Enobakhare.

I would imagine that is Randall and Armstrong wide, Bright behind Dicko. Great for Gibbs-White who is a first year scholar. Have also noticed McKenna been playing in pre-season who Sellars singled out for praise.

pardon my ignorance, but what is this 'icelandic clap' going around ? any video of it live ?

Did you watch any of the Euro's this summer? Its a low end budget version of what the Iceland fans did during the Tournament

Basically at the moment it sounds like when Blues get a corner and they all shout "zuluzuluzuluzulu" etc..

With a bit of a Simon Rattle type hand orchestration it could actually become ever so slightly like the Iceland fans at the Euros.

Sadly it wont and will remain like a bunch of sea lions with broken fins.

I was going to say that you can watch it in all it's glory on the video that Lycan put in the result thread...They need to slow down a bit. It is supposed to start with a slow hand clap and build up but as soon as the fans do the first "clap" they get all excited and act like the aforementioned sea lions (more like excited seals wanting some fish!)

Too be fair Iceland have a drum which keeps them all in time, I'm not sure that would help our fans though.

They only have to clap in time with Bodvarsson though...Just cant wait for him! ;)
