Definitely must have been able to show something for it to get reduced from 3 to 2. Maybe a nasty comment or two from their bench.

You'd think so, the 80 grand fine is a slap on the wrists to say you shouldn't be man (Specs) handling people whatever the cause.

I mean you would be. If he'd lightly put his hand to someone's face on the pitch he'd have got an instant 3 game ban from matches we took 7 points from and he scored 2 and assisted 1. He's done it after full time, added an elbow to the back of the head into the mix and he gets less and for less significant matches. Just for once we've dropped lucky....Good

Objectively I don't understand why its 2 games and not 3. The fine is neither here nor there for what players get played (i think clubs tend to pay them anyway?).

I also didn't understand how a headbutt can be too soft.

I think it just adds to the growing evidence that officials use random number generators rather than logic.
