General Wolves News

Honestly it wasn’t the insufferable “ha ha joke time” I was expecting. A lot more about being a Prem fan in the US than Wolves specifically tho tbh.

Dude got commissioned to Photoshop something for the Wright’s? Lucky bastard.

In a “man bun”, even!

At least now I can claim Neves imitation.
I'm not entirly sure what the difference between a man bun and a pony tail is but I've had long hair forever. Used to be down to my waist then I shaved it for charity and grew it back! Just nice to know that others have long hair.

I use it ironically, don't worry. I'm the sort who despises throwing "man" in front of shit to differentiate it. A bun is a bun!

Anyway to actual Wolves related stuff

Ahh, you closed it, I was just gonna say, the new Coach will be looking for a few signings.

Christian Marques permanent move to Swiss side Yverdon sport

Injuries at bad times, loans not working out and us developing him exclusively as a sweeper then stopping playing a back three (correctly) have done that.

Forgive me if its been covered but I've been in hospital for a week and with the greatest respect I'm not trawling backthrough a hundred pages, if its been covered fine, move on.
My Scottish neighbour who is a Celtic supporter and living in fear of Podence going to his team, told me that Celtic are safe now because Wolves gave him a new contract and loaned him back out to Olympiacos. One of the reasons Celtic didn't jump for him was they didn't want to pay his demand of more than 60K per week!
I imagine you all knew this right?

We knew it before Podence was even aware of it

He wouldn't be making any demands on wages, if he's going out on loan then he wouldn't ever get more than he's on at Wolves. It's up to us how much we want the loaning club to pay, ideally all of it (he probably is on about £60k/wk here). We're not just going to give him away, Celtic have money too.

He'd either have been great or terrible there, nothing in between. Would have come down to attitude. He's at least as talented as their Fake Jota who looked a world beater there and now can't get in a Saudi team.

Maybe Celtic did baulk at wages but surely Olympiakos aren't paying him 60k, seems rather high for Greece? I had thought Celtic were negotiating for a transfer rather than loan, maybe where wages became an issue.

Not sure why he was worrying about Podence coming either - he would have been one of the best players in the league.
