General Wolves News

Part of a potential Scott deal to get rid of the wolf that took on the piggies?

The original Wolfie stood out as one of he best mascots, the new one looks very plastic and cartoon-like. Still I'll check with my grandkids and see which they prefer as a man who will be 60 later this year is not the target market!

Who are these hot Academy prospects, Jeff?

"we do need to be humble with a challenger attitude, as if it was our first Premier League season all over again."

Translation - Anything above staying up is a bonus.

After so many years in the league we should be continually pushing for top half by now.

Doesn't work like that, does it.

Palace have been at this level since 2013 (have a miles better Academy than us too) and have a total of 1 top half finishes (in 2014/15, under a mix of Warnock and Pardew, which sounds great).

Imagine being the CEO of business the size of Wolves and basically putting out a letter that's either:

A - bollocks
B - demonstrates you don't understand the rules
C - basically says "so I fucked up bad and here are the consequences"

Absolute embarrassment

For this season, perhaps. It didn't read as "this is how it will be for the rest of time" to me. Though I'm sure it was groomed as such.
