Agreed. He's already had his ego over-inflated by moving to Spurs. He's not going to want to come here and effectively start again.

I think any ego he had has been smashed by sitting on the bench at Spurs straight after a successful spell at Forest.

Stay on a bench and get 2 mins to help Conte run the clock down every now and again or move and hope to get starts again. Why would he reject that?

He isn't going up from Spurs, so wherever he goes he is starting again.

No clue if he will be any good for us (we sign players i think will be and they are not) and if he is on our radar he isn't 1st choice. Clearly put AWB in that position.

I just think he's got a bad attitude and he'll view moving to a club like Wolves as a step back in his career, regardless of whether he's playing at Spurs or not. There's no guarantee he'd be starting here either!

Glad you have an insight to his character.

He will leave Spurs and "start again".
He can of course waste his career until his contract runs out or look to move on loan now. If he has an ego he will fancy himself becoming a starter at a Wolves, Palace, Southampton etc and then send a narky tweet to Conte.
