General Wolves News

What's the chances that Raul's groin feels a lot better this afternoon?
Still people on Twitter saying he was close to turning it around. Bonkers.

I know the Raul and Jonny thing was a fact. Ruddy and Saiss have basically said he was a twat. Boly has implied it. Coady the same whilst having to remain respectful to his employers.

Neves basically saying the players aren’t trying and “something needs to change”, was basically his death sentence.

Then there was also talk last night from media outlets that players were fed up of his training methods.

If ever there was a “he’s lost the dressing room” moment then it’s Chem Campbell and Diego Costa being our best players.

I have no idea how people thought it would get better. Unless by better they mean scoring a goal or winning a game. Under Lage our “better” was going to peak at bottom half fodder avoiding relegation.

Jason Denayer on not joining Wolves: “It’s not that I felt too good for the clubs that wanted me, but they weren’t teams that were aiming for a European ticket. And I absolutely want to play to win trophies.”

So I fucked off to the UAE instead. Makes sense mate

Yeah, he hasn't come across well throughout. Definitely a player after the money.

Surprised at the stick Coady is getting on twitter for what his sister posted.

I've felt it for a couple of years, but Coady wasn't as universally liked by Wolves fans as he should have been, which is clear when he is getting stick for something he didn't even tweet, that is a bit of stick to a shit manager.

I think there was a weird section of twitter (usually the types hidden behind stupid handles with a player as their avatar - bit like me on here :D) that criticised him quite a lot in the last two seasons but I didn't really put much value on that.

Outside of that I think people appreciated him for what he was and what he achieved.

I've found the digs from his family members a shame though. Even if it is aimed more at Lage.

Agreed, just surprised to see them as digs at Wolves rather than digs at Lage, as they're clearly at the latter.

I said vast majority, even 5% of season ticket holders is still a lot and we all know that a small minority of Wolves fans, like at every club, are utter twats.
Oh i know, whilst i quoted you, i wasn't arguing with you.

Just drumming home the point that i'm amazed that anyone would have anything bad to say about Coady as a bloke (commenting on his ability is obviously entirely different) especially when it wasn't even him that tweeted anything, and that the tweet was clearly directed at Lage not the club.

I don’t really get why fans are getting wound up about it. His family are basically saying that Lage is a prick. Which he is. It’s not like Coady has said anything bad about Wolves.

It doesn’t help that he has gone to Everton on a weird, cheap loan deal and played well in a back 4 but I doubt that many fans were against letting him go.

If he came back tomorrow they’d love him, coz he’s wolves ay e

It's almost like some people enjoy getting wound up by absolutely fuckall, I'm sure there are enjoyable, interesting fun posts on twitter but I only see the ones by wackos and arseholes that people put up on here.

When I used to sit in the old Steve Bull stand (i.e. before it was renamed), there was this bloke who used to berate Froggatt for not being upfield (when Froggy was playing as a wing-back) when Froggy himself had played the ball upfield.

I reckon that's the kind of moron who spouts nonsense and bile on twitter. No rational thought process but all the confidence in the world to share their opinion.

When I had a season ticket in the Steve Bull, a guy about three rows behind used to go apoplectic about Karl Henry every home game. He literally blamed him for everything.

His rage was quite entertaining though. The old codger who used to shout ‘get it over’ every time a winger or full back crossed the halfway line was more annoying.

I had a superb Simon Osborn hater in front of me one season. Amazed his head didn't explode.
