Not sure if this is supposed to be a list of people from Wolverhampton or a list of Wolves fans, either way it's incorrect

Derran Brownson (Keyboard and Sampler from EMF)
At risk of slipping into the twighlight zone, saw EMF at Camp Bestival this summer, its a family festival and about half the crowd were kids round 8 years old including everyone in the front.

The lead singer was banging on about ecstasy and dropping the f-bomb every other word. I have no idea what he was thinking.

Unbelievable

Not sure if being said elsewhere, according to Mexican manager Raul will miss there games and will be a couple of more weeks at least before he is fit

Doesnt actually say in the article that I read what is wrong with him but says that hopefully will be ready for the World Cup!

Did you get baptised whilst there?

The Mexico Manager also said that he couldn't believe that Raul couldn't even train at a light level . He thought it was only a minor injury . There is some suggestion in another interview ( with Raul ) that he will be back for the Chelsea match - I doubt that very much .

Depends who the manager is for the Chelsea game, I don't think he plays under Lage again

I Believe he wasn't thinking of the Children...

If its a family fest, probably not best to book an act that are 100% going to play a song with the lyrics "Ecstasy, Motherfucker" repeated over and over.

They don't play that then they have to deal with Quirk moaning at them on Twitter for dropping his fave song

Liam guessed at Chelsea.

Bruno wouldn't give a timeframe so Liam ruled him out of the West Ham game and said more likely it will be Chelsea he returns.

Forgot to say, my earlier post isn’t fans, it’s musicians from Wolverhampton, bar Robert Plant who’s West Bromwich born, ( same hospital as that well known Irishman, Phil Lynott from thin lizzy, exactly a year later)

Quirk would have been happy, I wasn't complaining as such more amused that a) they were booked in the first place b) couldn't look at the crowd of children and not think, hmm perhaps the 8 year olds don't really care to hear about the early 90s ecstasy scene.c) about 2 thirds through his set he did make some recognition that perhaps his language wasn't the best for the audience before carrying on dropping fbombs

Overhead someone who said ' I can't believe they've booked these again' which would imply they have played at the other camp bestivals.

Was an OK set tbf, although a little thin on material.

Siouxsie (fan, not from Wolvo).
Saw Siouxsie and the Banshees at the Civic in 1985. She did the whole concert sitting on a stool after dislocating her knee. About the same time as I saw New Order play there.

What a venue! And soon to reopen?

It really wasnt that bad, the kids that were there were oblivious of said lyrics. If you thought EMF were bad did you catch The Cuban Brothers set, fucking hell every five minutes crotch thrusting, talking about his massive dick and many other crude anatomy jokes. It was fucking funny as fuck..
