The commentator just seems resigned to the fact that the outcome would be a goal. He wasn’t even angry, just “oh well, Wolves score”

I think the conservatism is mostly to protect the defence. Semedo tends to be the marauding one but I'd be tempted to keep Semedo back and push RAN on.

It is exactly the same as Jonny’s early games. The right back attacks, the left back stays back or rarely ventures too far forward.
