I go by Count McBinvar actually.I always wondered what Count McBinface does when there isn't an election on. Now I know after reading this thread.

This is an absolutely ridiculous myth, largely spouted by people who only pretend to watch foreign league games. I can absolutely assure you, it is as hated by many abroad as it is here and is absolutely NOT a "Premier League problem"VAR works fine in Europe ( I know you’ve quoted a couple of examples, but it’s 1000 times better there than here) and at the Euro’s and at the World Cup.
This is not a VAR problem, it’s a Premier League problem.
I watch football from all round the world. It is only England that has about 10 dodgy VAR decisions every week. Nowhere else. This is an absolutely ridiculous myth, largely spouted by people who only pretend to watch foreign league games. I have supporters from every country with VAR, it is definitely no better in the Netherlands I can assure you! Do you watch much Eredivisie?

Total, unadulterated, utter nonsense. In fact a Spanish follower told me in Spain, they complain that the Premier League is so much better than La Liga in terms of VAR.I watch football from all round the world. It is only England that has about 10 dodgy VAR decisions every week. Nowhere else.
VAR will show people pictures, it will always be subject to human interpretation. The reason VAR can never "work" in terms of being 100% accurate is it is still (and always will be) run by humans. Humans = human error. Just a different human not at the stadium. It might be more accurate eventually, with better trained referees. How the fuck can the technology fail? It’s the useless cunts using it that are the problem, Jesus Christ. You get shit drivers who crash all the time but it’s not the car’s fault is it?
Yes, we know Americans don't do sport. They do adverts....I completely disagree with this.
I grew up with replay in all the major American leagues; I'm always going to be in favor of it. Not trying to have a go.

That’s not what you said though, you said “serious failings of this technology in Europe and all around the world”. What are they?VAR will show people pictures, it will always be subject to human interpretation. Also, occasionally sometimes technologies do fail. Even with VAR this has happened: https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...technology-failed-during-a-league-grand-final
In the majority of car crashes a driver will be at fault, but with aviation and cars sometimes technology does actually fail. It is rare but it happens. If your computer crashes it is not necessarily your fault, it could be a technical failure.
It was you lot that pioneered adverts on shirts tbf.Yes, we know Americans don't do sport. They do adverts....
TBF it was German club Eintracht Braunschweig, the first team worldwide to have Jägermeister (digestif brand) as a shirt sponsor in 1973.It was you lot that pioneered adverts on shirts tbf.
